Protect Taxpayers & Control Costs

• Advocate for responsible, well-managed spending on major capital projects such as the Killam School replacement and the Reading Center for Active Living (ReCal), with particular focus on controlling operating budgets, programming costs, and maximizing building efficiency.
• Push for a multi-year fiscal roadmap that locks in savings from recently completed debt (e.g., library, high school) before approving new exclusions.
• Advocate for independent cost reviews and value engineering on all large capital projects to deliver the best outcome at the lowest possible cost.
